Hynes Post Office
Located in the heart of our picturesque village, Hynes Old Post Office has views of the historic Kilnalahan Abbey. In recent times, people have been able to visit as stay there as it is an Air BNB.

Mrs Nora Hynes was the much-loved Postmistress in Abbey from 1952 until her retirement in 2003. On the 31st May 2015, Frances Holohan had the pleasure of interview Nora and to find out what life in the Post Office was like in the 1950s when she first came to Abbey.
